We understand bridal shopping can be overwhelming and even a little intimidating but it doesn’t need to be. Put you trust in us and we will put you completely at ease give the best memories of finding your dress to cherish forever.

You and your bride tribe have our entire showroom exclusively to yourselves for the appointment and our undivided attention throughout. Not another bride insight. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with our deep luxury carpet and given slippers to make you feel at home... you can keep them too! You'll be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco (or two!) or a tea or coffee if it’s too early in the day.  

We will ask you about your day and your vision to get an understanding of what you’re looking for. Then it’s time to play dress up! And because it’s just you, we don’t limit the amount of guests you can bring either, there’s room for everyone! Just remember a lot of opinions can be overwhelming so think about who’s matters to you and bring them along.  Little ones are welcome too!

Appointment FAQS  

 

Do I need to make an appointment even for accessories?

Yes as we may already have a bride in so please always book in to avoid disappointment.  

 

When is the best time to start loooking for my dress?

The sooner the better! Around 12-18 months before your wedding  is a perfect time to start looking for your dress. Your dress really needs to be ordered at least 9 months before your big day, but any earlier is really all the better for you.  All of our designer gowns are made to order, so you will need to allow time for it to be made. Leaving it too late m can cause unnecessary stress and limit your options. I would recommend looking as soon as you are ready no matter how early it is. let us know! Some designers do provide rush orders to get them in earlier, however these do come at an additional fee and are not available on every style.

 

What size are your sample gowns?

 All our gowns in the showroom are samples, they range in size from a UK 8 to a 20. Don’t worry if a gown you like isn’t in your size there’s lots of ways to give you a good idea of how they will look when they are in your size and fit properly.  Once you find your dress, a new one will be made just for you. all our gowns are available to order in UK sizes 6-32. We will go through with you exactly how each style will fit when it is your size and advise you on any alterations that can take place once your dress has arrived. Bespoke options are offered by most designers.

 

Budget and price point?

Our dresses range from £1000-£3000. Keep budget in mind when making your selections to try on, we will let you know if you select any dresses that are over your ideal budget.  

 

 

Do I need to bring anything with me?

We would advise you to wear suitable nude or white underwear to the appointment. If you have a strapless bra bring one with you. For the sake of our dresses please kindly avoid wearing heavy makeup or fake tan as these could damage our gowns.  Bring along any venue information, as well as any colour swatches /photos etc. that describe your day. We have shoes you can try on with your dresses but if you’ve already brought your shoes feel free to bring them with you!

 

Entourage - Who can I bring with me?

As you have our showroom exclusively we don’t limit numbers of guests you can bring.. Yay! We welcome everyone. It’s tempting to invite all your friends and family but just keep in too many opinions can easily overwhelm and confuse the appointment quite quickly it can become difficult make decisions when you’re focused on pleasing too many opinions.  

 

Do you have parking?

Yes we have a huge carpark! The Piano tearooms are also on site and you are free to walk around the beautiful hall grounds so why not make it a day out.

 

Can you get a loan sample from a designer that’s not in the showroom?

If you have seen a dress on one of the designer’s websites that you would like to try that we don’t have, it is possible to loan dresses in for you.  If there is a specific dress please contact us before the appointment and I will contact the designer and arrange a convenient appointment with you to try it on.  For some of the designers this is free of charge and for others there may be a small delivery charge (which will be refundable if you decide to purchase the dress).  

 

Alterations?

Your gown may need some alterations after the dress has arrived with us, this is completely normal. We have an extremely talented and incredibly skilled seamstress who can take you through this simple process with confidence and hold private alteration appointments with you. This process usually requires around 12 weeks and is an additional cost so ensure you factor this in to your budget.    

 

 

Do you charge for an appointment?

Appointments during the week are always free. We do Charge £20 for a Saturday appointment, this is because we have a waiting list for Saturday appointments and this then ensures that brides arrive for their appointments or cancel their booking if they are no longer able to attend. We can then offer the appointment to another bride. The £20 is redeemable off your dress.
