Meet the owner...
Amy is the friendly and welcoming face behind the Adella Brand. After her Degree in Fashion design Amy has spent almost a decade working in the fashion design and buying industry. Designing, sourcing and supplying fashion and accessories for most of the UK high street. For the last few years Amy has specialised in bridal Accessories, for both independent boutiques and high street retailers as well as department stores.
Her employment has taken her all over the world sourcing the newest fabrics, trends and inspiration.
After taking an average of 55 flights a year and an incredible career in the industry Amy decided it was time to settle down (only a little bit though!) making the decision to leave London and move back home to Norfolk.
Amy spent over a year planning Adella. It evolved so many times during this time and it was so much fun! With the help from friends and family her vision became a reality. All the sleepless nights were most definitely worth it!
Adella Bridal is set with in the ground floor of Ketteringham Hall. The search for the perfect location was a very long and emotional one!
Over all I wanted to create the most incredible dress shopping experience for Brides in a stressfree enviroment.
Most brides dream of wedding dress shopping way before they are even engaged! Unfortunately, more often than not though the reality doesn’t match up to the expectation. I wanted to change this by going above and beyond for all brides walking through our doors. I believe the shopping experience should be the best part of the wedding planning.
The space had to be amazing, I never wanted a shop, It had to be different I wanted to make it a day out and a relaxing experience. Most of all I wanted the bride to feel confident and at ease. Many brides know it can be such an overwhelming experience and the thought of wedding dress shopping fills some brides to be with dread.
After spending months of searching and viewing so so so many out of the box locations, I found the one. As soon as I drove through the gates at Ketteringham Hall I knew it was the one.
From the moment you arrive at the hall it feels luxury and calm.
Aside from our beautiful showroom there are stunning grounds to walk around. There’s even a tearoom situated in the old orangery with views over the lake, so you can pop in for a piece of cake after your appointment or even book in for an afternoon tea! Contact the Piano tearooms to book.
At Adella your experience is the most important to us and we go above and beyond to achieve your happiness. Amy is more than prepared to ensure brides feel completely confident and safe during their visit. Her experience and skills along with her invaluable knowledge for bridal fashion is shown in the exquisite hand selected collection in the showroom. Only the very best quality designs are available in the Showroom. We hope you will remember your wedding dress shopping experience and treasure it forever.
We stock four Designer labels and our own exclusive collection designed by Amy. We only chose designers and dresses that we are absolutely in love with. One of the reasons I opened in Norfolk was because so many of my Norwich friends would come to London to go wedding dress shopping to escape the more traditional ‘safe’ styles that we see so many of. At Adella we want brides to be able to show their personality in their dress. We also offer accessories such as veils, jackets, hair accessories, belts and of course SHOES! We are so proud to be an exclusive stockist of the fabulous Freya Rose they have always been one of my absolute favourite footwear designers. Our ranges are fun, flirty and romantic with statement backs, stunning beadwork, intricate lace and embroidery. With both fitted and fairy tale silhouette and clean lines. We have blushes, champagnes and nudes to sit alongside the traditional ivory gowns.
